A garden party with coffee and cake under the old oak treeMidsummer at Björkåsa, under the old oak tree, with lots of cake and strings of lights, with friends and wildflowers and heavy rain clouds that joined the party first after midnight (lucky us).

In Sweden, we celebrated summer solstice last Friday (a bank holiday) and we are slowly getting back to normal again. Monday has started with lots of paperwork and a custom doll that has to be finished, but the colourful vintage table cloths that are drying in the wind remind me of the weekend that has passed.

A long summer lies ahead and I hope to find time to update this blog between doing garden work, making dolls, baking berry crumbles and packing swimming things for a dip in the lake. If I am not here, you can find me on Instagram where I share my (wild)flower bouquets, every day…

Enjoy summer and see you soon <3

  2. I just found your blog. It’s magical! Thank you for sharing your beautiful life and creative genius with everyone. Your dolls are gorgeous. I love dolls. I’m 35 years old and I asked for a doll for my birthday. She was made by a 90-year-old doll maker here. I love meeting doll makers. Photos on my blog–www.stillparenting.blogspot.com
