Fridays are washing days and I made use of the nice weather and hung out the laundry for a quick photo session. Just a little update from my studio – Tuesday next week two 17″/ 45cm dolls will be available in my webshop, this time a red-haired boy and a dark-haired girl. Each of them comes with two sets of clothes as well as pyjamas, shoes and undies (yes, undies of course, to cover this important detail).

Viggo and Ebba are siblings and I enjoyed it a lot to make them a whole little wardrobe in organic/ GOTS certified fabrics. For some reason, the pale yellow and light blue reminded me of 1950s children clothes which is why both got practical dungarees for carefree play, knowing that Ebba would stain her frilly Sunday dress in no time anyway.

Both dolls will cost 10.000 SEK each and will travel to their new homes in a matching tote bag, with a lavender sachet, care instructions and a little repair kit – because you never know with these two rascals – in the blink of an eye they have scraped their knees or sprained their ankle while climbing up and jumping down the apple tree…

Sending you a summer breeze from Björkåsa,

P.S. On Sunday you can find Ebba’s and Viggo’s story here on the blog, stay tuned!

  1. Hello Juliane!
Beautiful work as always! They are so cute! ^^
    You’re very great!
    Have a good weekend!

    • Juliane

Thank you so much, dear Titty! Have a lovely weekend you too!

  2. It makes me happy to see clothes drying on the clothesline – a pile of fresh dried laundry smells so nice!

    • Juliane

It absolutely does! I dread the winter months when all the laundry has to be dried indoors again and I am constantly stumbling over the clotheshorse…

  3. How DARLING the little clothes on the line to ‘dry’. My, but you do such lovely work.

    • Juliane

Thank you so much for your kind words, dear Judi.

  4. Marijke

As always….. so many beautiful details!!! And perfect colours matching. Thank your for your inspiration!

    • Juliane

Thank you, Marijke. I loved making these (I wish I had the same patience when it comes making clothes for myself)
